So, the answer to your question is that we are talking about two different works. The Introduction au Nouveau Testament: Les Epitres de Paul does not have a chapter on Hebrews, while this collection of essays on Paul does. If you can find the work in French and digitize it, let me know and I will link to it.Brian Smallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14209118115977821617noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7584492698366396071.post-31348539181392079722009-03-17T07:28:00.000-05:002009-03-17T07:28:00.000-05:00Hello,I just discovered today your blog and was ve...Hello,

I just discovered today your blog and was very surprised to read your article about Godet on Hebrews. I am in the process of digitizing every writing from Godet I can find (in french) ; last year I put on line his Introduction to the N. T. ; one part is on the Epistles of Paul, the other on the Synoptic Gospels. None or them contains the original text to which your are alluding and that was translated by Annie Harwood Holmden, allthough the year edition of the Epistles of Paul part is 1893.

Here is the url where you can find this Introduction (pdf or html) : http://epelorient.free.fr/godet.html

If you read french, could you tell me, il we are talking about the same work, but with a different year edition, so I can try to find the french version ?

Yesterday I put on line the Commentary from Ebrard that Google has digitized in a picture mode, but in text mode, pdf and html. I have to read it again, to spot out the OCR mistakes ; but is right now much more usable in this form.
