Electronic Dissertation Arrival

Today I just downloaded John L. Terveen's 1986 University of Edinburgh dissertation "Jesus in Hebrews: An Exegetical Analysis of the References to Jesus' Earthly Life in the Epistle to the Hebrews" which just became available from the EThOS site. I ordered the dissertation a little over a month ago. Apparently, it takes them a while to get the dissertations from the universities and then to scan them. However, I can't complain; the price is right: free.

  1. Hi Brian,

Have you come across David Mark Allen's 2007 University of Edinburgh dissertation "Deuteronomic Re-presentation in a Word of Exhortation: An Assessment of the Paraenetic Function of Deuteronomy in the Letter to the Hebrews"? If not you might be interested in it. It's available here: http://hdl.handle.net/1842/2232

I also sprang for his book at SBL this past November.
